Governance
Many nomads live in co-livings. In this type of residence, a third party takes over all responsibilities. On the contrary, in a cohousing it is the residents who make all the decisions in common. It is therefore essential to know the proven modes of governance for small communities. You will find more information on Non-Violent Communication, Sociocracy by clicking the following button.
Basic Agreement
In the book Creating a Life Together, a reference book in the field of eco-villages and intentional communities, it is written that it is very difficult or even impossible to create a project beyond a group of 7 to 10 people because then there is too much difference of opinion. This is why we offer a basic agreement that a small group of people can adapt to their vision. This agreement will become a project proposal and will be the basis on which the group will be built. Interested people can then join the project according to their interests with this proposal. During the cohousing creation phase, the agreement will not be modified. It is only once the cohousing has been created that the members will be able to make all the modifications they wish.
Economic Model
A cohousing is not only a very rewarding place to live together but also It has very interesting economic advantages.
Legal Aspects
Each country has different legal particularities. Each project will be adapted according to the reality of each country. An example of a legal document is proposed for the province of Quebec (Canada): Declaration of Divided Co-Ownership in French. The English translation was done by Google Translate with a very approximate result.
Proposal
I added an NBC proposal based on my own interests in the Proposals section. I invite you to make your own NBC proposal which can be added in this section. Interested persons will be able to consult the projects and managers concerned.
