Interests

I have been interested in the phenomenon of eco-villages for several years and I took advantage of the pandemic to take a break from programming and explore the world of eco-villages. After having followed several training courses and having met people who live by this way of life, I have come to find that the formula of a co-living is much more suited to the way of life that interests me.

Nomad Base Camp (NBC)

I find, and this is a criticism I have often heard, that strong bonds are created with people who eventually continues their journey to other places. These links are perpetually to rebuild with other people. That’s why I came to propose this concept of NBC. In fact, it is quite similar to my current way of life but with the fact that the occupants are owners and find themselves each year together for a few months

I currently live in a collective in the friendly village of Eastman in Quebec (Canada). The building is a former yoga center on three floors. We are 8 residents and we have a decision-making meeting once a week in which we practice the principles of NVC and “alternative” governance.

We occasionally host events in the 3rd floor great hall as well as potlucks once per month. The social network thus built is absolutely incredible. It is this life experience that I invite you to live together.
